Introduction
Erratum in: “Mass Spectrometric Identification of Phospholipids in Human Tears and Tear Lipocalin” by Austin W. Dean and Ben J. Glasgow (Invest Ophthalmol Vis Sci. 2012;53:1773–1782) doi:10.1167/iovs.11-9419
In Table 1, the values shown are a percentage of the lipids examined unless stated otherwise.
In Table 3, the units for the column labeled “LOD of Standard Sample” should be ng/μL, not pg/μL.
In Table 3, the limit of detection for phosphocholine of 0.228 ng/μL represents the lowest value of any sample, whereas the limit of detection of 0.293 ng/μL reported in the text is the mean of six values (signal intensity is normalized for volume).
In Figure 2, the legend should indicate that the circle and triangle correspond to the concentration of a single PC, m/z 758.6 extracted from TL and tears, respectively.
