Abstract

Presentation Description : Recent reports have suggested male-female differences in the incident and prevalence of diabetic retinopathy. In this brief summary the socioeconomic, behavioral, environmental and biological determinants for sex/gender disparities in diabetic retinopathy will be discussed.

This is an abstract that was submitted for the 2016 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Seattle, Wash., May 1-5, 2016.
