By fundus examination the microcirculation directly can be judged, wich is characteristic for the whole body. Modern angio OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) instruments can detect the microcirculation of the eye with a qualitative and quantitative method. The aim of the investigation is to realise if there is any different angio OCT findings between haemodialized patients and non-haemdialised population. The examinations were performed from 2017 July to September in the Department of Ophthalmology of Markhot Ferenc Hospital and in the Fresenius MedicalCare Dialysis Center Eger, Hungary.33 haemodialised patients underwent angio OCT examination, the control group was choosen from the Outpatient Care Department of Ophthalmology. The average age was 62,48±14,27 years in the hamodialised group and 57,09±19,1 years in the controll group. We examined the patients with Optivue angio OCT. ANOVA analysis were performed on the datas. The non-flow areas in the macular area was 0,41±0,37 mm2 in the haemodialised group (G1) and 0,31±0,12 mm2 in the control group (G2). The flow area in the outer retina layer was 1,02±0,2 mm2 in G1 and 1,04±0,21 mm2 in G2. The flow area in the Choriodal Capillary layer was 1,82±0,18 mm2 in G1 and 1,85±0,1 mm2 in G2. The ocular flow density % was 49,18±5,14 in G1 and 49,02±5,17 in G2. ANOVA analysis des not show any significant difference between the two groups We can conclude, that the use of the angio OCT giving much more information on the ocular microcirculation, then the former methods. Gives an objective, investigator independent possibility to declare the vascular state of eye. We found some near-significant resalts on the macula thickness between G1 and G2 but further examinations are needed. This is an abstract that was submitted for the 2018 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Honolulu, Hawaii, April 29 - May 3, 2018. %[ 2/25/2021
