Erratum
Erratum in: “A New Locus for Autosomal Dominant Cataract on Chromosome 19: Linkage Analyses and Screening of Candidate Genes” by Bateman et al. ( Invest Ophthalmol Vis Sci. 2006;47:3441–3449).
In the Abstract, the 4th sentence of the Results section should read, “Assuming full penetrance, the highest calculated maximum lod score was 3.91 with D19S903.”
In Figure 1 , haplotype shading was incorrect for generation 3, individual 5, allele 8.
In Table 1 , there are corrections to four lod scores in the Crystallin, alpha A and Crystallin beta B2 lines: Crystallin, alpha A: the lod score at θ = 0.3 should be −0.09. Crystallin, beta B2: the lod score at θ = 0.05 should be −5.25, the lod score at θ = 0.1 should be −2.47, and the lod score at θ = 0.3 should be −0.52.
Figure 1.

Pedigree of ADC4 family with haplotypes in the mapped region of chromosome 19. The pedigree has been modified slightly, to protect the confidentiality of the family. Affected individuals are annotated as solid symbols; numbers indicate individuals studied (examined, samples obtained). Haplotypes in the critical region on chromosome 19 are indicated below each individual studied for linkage in this region, and the conserved region is in a shaded box. *Individuals from whom DNA was collected.
