Erratum in: “Differential effects of trabecular meshwork stiffness on outflow facility in normal human and porcine eyes” by Lucinda J. Camras, W. Daniel Stamer, David Epstein, Pedro Gonzalez, and Fan Yuan (Invest Ophthalmol Vis Sci. 2012;53:5242-5250) doi:10.1167/iovs.12-9825
The circumferential Young's moduli (E) reported in this article for human and porcine trabecular meshwork (TM) were incorrect. They should be increased 100 times. The corrections apply in all places where E is reported or discussed. As a result, the mean ± SE of E for human TM should be increased from 515 ± 136 kPa to 51.5 ± 13.6 MPa, and the geometric mean of E for porcine TM should be increased from 24.9 kPa to 2.49 MPa. The geometric SE of E for porcine TM is not affected by the error; it still is 1.5. The error does not affect other results reported in the article, nor the conclusions of the study.
