To evaluate full-field ERG and multufocal ERG after intravitreal plasmin injection in eyes with macular edema associated with branch retinal vein occlusion(BRVO)
Before injection, mean visual acuity was 0.523logMAR and showed improvement to 0.177logMAR at 6months after injection. The mean foveal thickness measured by OCT decreased significantly from 615.75 to 297.45 µm 6 months after injection. Full-field ERG showed no changes in amplitude of both a- and b-wave. In multifocal ERG responses from central area were evaluated. The amplitude of both a- and b- wave of multifocal ERG improved with recovery of visual acuity but the difference was not statistically significant.
