Abstract

Purpose: : To evaluate full-field ERG and multufocal ERG after intravitreal plasmin injection in eyes with macular edema associated with branch retinal vein occlusion(BRVO)

Results: : Before injection, mean visual acuity was 0.523logMAR and showed improvement to 0.177logMAR at 6months after injection. The mean foveal thickness measured by OCT decreased significantly from 615.75 to 297.45 µm 6 months after injection. Full-field ERG showed no changes in amplitude of both a- and b-wave. In multifocal ERG responses from central area were evaluated. The amplitude of both a- and b- wave of multifocal ERG improved with recovery of visual acuity but the difference was not statistically significant.
