Abstract

Purpose: : To evaluate visual function of patients who had Cryptoccocus infection using electrophysiological and psychophysical tests.

Methods: : The following psychophysical tests were conducted: Farnsworth-Munsell test (FM-100), Mollon-Reffin method (MR), spatial contrast sensitivity (SCC) and visual static threshold perimetry (VSP). In addition the following electrophysiological tests were also conducted: pattern reversal visual cortical evoked potential (PVECP), pattern electroretinogram (PERG) and full field electroretinogram (ffERG), in accordance with thestandards of the International Society of Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision. The results obtained from the patients were compared to normative data from age-matched controls.
