Abstract
Purpose::
PTK AS COADYUVANTE IN TX OF ULCERATES CORNEAL MICOTICSummary:Case report of ulcerate micotic by Fusarium Solani and with tratement instituted arrives our institute were changes for antifungal and we value that the thickness of it ulcerate is not more than 150 mcs for which the application is decided of ptk as tx on it ulcerates and valuing photograpic and clinically its evolution.
Methods::
Male responds 29/05/06 by the presence of fotofobia, in left eye for 20 d after trauma Right Eye(RE): Without alterations Left Eye(LE): Conjunctive with hiperemia + + +, central ulcerate, very diffuse edges, not greater depth of 1500mcs, hipopion of the 40%, flare + + +, celularidad + + +. Fundoscopic: RE without alterations in LE is not valorable. Day 0 cultivation is taken and is initiated with antifungal topic and sistemic, 3 day the result of laboratory (Fusarium) is decided the application of PTK al to note that the depth is not over 1500 mcsParameters: Laser Nidek with 4 times of 30 mcs to 10 hrtz of velocity, moisturizing the estroma constantly.
Results::
24 hrs latter of the ptk we observed hipopion of the 25%, with notable decrease in the infiltrated, the hiperemia conjuntival is of + +, and the secreción also diminish.
Conclusions::
At least in this case was of great utility the use of PTK as adyuvant in the tx of mycotic ulcerate
