Abstract

Abstract: : Purpose:To determine filtering bleb characteristics of successful non–fenestrated S2 Ahmed Glaucoma Valve Implants (AGVI/S2). Methods:20mhz ultrasound evaluations of 9 patients with AGVI/S2. Results: Five patients had a double bleb (DB) indicating fluid anterior (A) and posterior (P) to the AGVI/S2. Bleb Characteristics

Conclusions: The AGVI/S2 plate elevates posteriorly in many blebs. Conjunctival thickening is present over all blebs.

Keywords: conjunctiva • imaging methods (CT, FA, ICG, MRI, OCT, RTA, SLO, ultrasound) • clinical (human) or epidemiologic studies: systems/equipment/techniques
