Abstract

Presentation Description : Numerous modifications of the immune system homeostasis are induced by pregnancy, such as to protect the allogeneic fetus from immune rejection. This has profound effects on immune responses in general, and on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases that can improve or worsen during pregnancy.
We will review these aspects and their implication for eye infectious and inflammatory pathologies

This is an abstract that was submitted for the 2016 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Seattle, Wash., May 1-5, 2016.
