Abstract

Presentation Description : This presentation will focus on the clinical in vivo evaluation of the structure and vasculature of the choroid using existing imaging modalities. Special attention will be paid to the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the vasculature of the choroid using optical coherence tomography (OCT) angiography (OCTA) for the choriocapillaris and long wavelength OCT for the larger choroidal vasculature. Choroidal changes as well as quantification of these changes in the normal aging as well as pathology such as age related macular degeneration and diabetes will also be touched upon

This is an abstract that was submitted for the 2017 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Baltimore, MD, May 7-11, 2017.
