Erratum in: “Functional Reading Independence (FRI) Index: A New Patient-Reported Outcome Measure for Patients With Geographic Atrophy” by Miriam Kimel, Nancy Kline Leidy, Elizabeth Tschosik, Chantal Dolan, Eric H. Souied, Rohit Varma, and Neil M. Bressler (Invest Ophthalmol Vis Sci. 2016;57:6298–6304) doi:10.1167/iovs.16-20361
In the fourth sentence of the Results section of the Abstract, the two Spearman's correlation values for reading speed and NEI VFQ-25 have been transposed. The sentence should read: “Convergent validity with binocular measures was strong (Spearman's correlation = 0.72 for reading speed, 0.66 for NEI-VFQ-25).” The values are quoted correctly elsewhere in the main article, and this error does not alter the overall interpretation of the results. The article has been corrected online.
