Presentation Description : The presentation will discuss the normal structural and functional features of retinal glia in the neurovascular unit, and the effects of diabetes on glial cell function and contributions to retinopathy.

This is an abstract that was submitted for the 2018 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Honolulu, Hawaii, April 29 - May 3, 2018.
