Presentation Description : Evidence-based validation of the preventive and prescriptive possibilities of lifestyle activities, such as exercise, diet, nutritional supplements, and other factors, is essential to meet the current national and global imperatives to improve brain and eye health. This introduction will familiarize the attendee with the symposium's overall purpose, and to provide context for the following presentations and discussions.

This is an abstract that was submitted for the 2018 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Honolulu, Hawaii, April 29 - May 3, 2018.
