Abstract

Presentation Description : This presentation will present and evaluate the current evidence available from human studies investigating associations between diurnal/circadian rhythms and myopia. The potential of such research to inform clinical practice and myopia management strategies will be discussed. The presentation will acknowledge the challenges associated with characterising diurnal/circadian rhythm in humans, particularly in the context of paediatric eyecare, and consider future research directions.

This abstract was presented at the 2019 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Vancouver, Canada, April 28 - May 2, 2019.
