Abstract

Presentation Description : I will review available information on the multiple roles and possible mechanisms of action of gut microbiota in mediating local and systemic influences on endocrine, metabolic, immune, and neurologic functions including brain and behaviour. I will try and place these into the context of both health and disease.

This abstract was presented at the 2019 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Vancouver, Canada, April 28 - May 2, 2019.
