Abstract
Purpose :
To explore the relationship between central anterior chamber depth (ACD), lens thickness (LT), axial length (AL), age, central corneal thickness (CCT), white-to-white (WTW) and corneal average keratometer readings (K) of senile cataract patients measured by the new swept source OCT-based IOLMaster 700.
Methods :
5841 subjects with senile cataract were recruited. All patients underwent IOL-Master700 to measure ACD, LT, AL, CCT, WTW and K values. SPSS21 was used to conduct multiple linear regression analysis of the inspection results.
Results :
There was a multiple linear regression relationship between ACD and LT, AL, WTW, K, CCT and the coefficient of five independent variables were statistically significant.
The optimal regression equation is as follows:
Y1=-0.519-0.593X1+0.064X2+0.246X3+0.034X4+0.568X5 (Y1 :ACD, X1:LT, X2:AL, X3:WTW, X4:K, X5:CCT). According to the standardized regression coefficients in the pattern LT gave the largest contribution to the change of ACD , accounting for 42.6%. There was a positive linear correlation between LT , age and CCT. The optimal regression equation is as follows: Y2=3.462+0.012X1+0.531X2 (Y2:LT,X1:age,X2:CCT). Age gave the largest contribution to the change of LT, accounting for 87% in this regression pattern.
Conclusions :
By analyzing the preoperative data of senile cataract patients,it was found that LT increased with age. ACD was negatively correlated with LT. LT played the most important role in the influencing factors of ACD.
