Abstract

Presentation Description : Even though optical myopia control interventions are often designed to introduce myopic peripheral defocus, their effect goes beyond defocus. Other proposed mechanisms include accommodation, retinal contrast, and asymmetries in peripheral optical errors. In this presentation, we will discuss the depth of focus and retinal image quality while wearing different optical interventions.

This abstract was presented at the 2023 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in New Orleans, LA, April 23-27, 2023.
