Abstract

Presentation Description : Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are secretory vesicles that carry bioactive molecules and can be phenotyped using validated tetraspanin markers, making them promising biomarker candidates. Aqueous humor (AH), the clear fluid of front eye chamber is an organ confined liquid biopsy source of tumor information and EVs have been newly established in AH, but relationships between EVs and pathologic features are unknown. Our research focuses on dissecting EV subpopulations existing in AH with single vesicle analysis technologies and investigating the dynamics among these subpopulations during physiologcal and pathological condistions.

This abstract was presented at the 2023 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in New Orleans, LA, April 23-27, 2023.
