Abstract

Presentation Description :
The eye, as an anterior extension of the central nervous system, offers a unique and relatively unexplored area to better understand Alzheimer’s disease. The presentation will review several ophthalmic biomarkers such as visual function, eye diseases, and retinal imaging features that are associated with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia development and different methodological approaches.

This abstract was presented at the 2023 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in New Orleans, LA, April 23-27, 2023.
