Abstract

Presentation Description : Commercial OCT systems are currently sufficient to reveal details of cellular activity and morphology using the enface perspective. Ease of patient-accessibility and readily available software tools allow in vivo cellular studies of a broad range of ocular diseases. Parallel application of higher resolution adaptive optics SLO imaging, of the same or similar clinical subjects, greatly enhances appreciation of delicate cellular features and reveals dynamics unavailable from static images. A variety of clinical scenarios will be presented along with preliminary studies which highlight the utility of this approach.

This abstract was presented at the 2024 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Seattle, WA, May 5-9, 2024.
