Abstract

Presentation Description : In recent years, multiphoton microscopy (MPM) has become a powerful tool for the study of biological tissues, offering non-invasive and label-free information on tissue morphology, metabolism, and structural properties simultaneously. In this presentation, we discuss the advantages of MPM in the context of corneal imaging. We describe the potential of MPM for evaluating corneal viability pre-transplantation, for diagnosing various corneal diseases, and for assessing treatment outcomes such as corneal collagen cross-linking.

This abstract was presented at the 2024 ARVO Annual Meeting, held in Seattle, WA, May 5-9, 2024.
